Neural Networks

The idea of using neural networks in the task of human face detection is derived from the observation that human faces on digital images stand out as a class of well structured objects.

This solution is based on the assumption that a single layer of perceptrons (Viola-Jones detector) is limited in dividing the space of object and non-object sub-images. The Neural Network will give the advantage of a classification using multi layers.

The unique combination of Neural Networks and the Viola-Jones detector yields a robust, fast and smart detector.
The system can be manipulated to any kind of object detection application.
